As part of a series of events celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Department of Bioengineering, join us and our friends @Foldscope for a special workshop event showcasing the Foldscope 2.0! In 2010, Manu Prakash, Professor of Bioengineering and Jim Cybulski invented the Foldscope, a paper microscope, while Jim was a PhD student in the Prakash Lab. Today, the Foldscope has grown from an idea into a powerful tool that has now reached over 2 million people. Through innovations in research at Foldscope and in the Prakash Lab, the Department of Bioengineering is proud to host this event showcasing the release of the Foldscope 2.0! Be one of the first to try out the newest version of the Foldscope!
