Alison Marsden Named Winner of 2023 Van C. Mow Medal
Dr. Marsden wins for her scholarly work in pediatric cardiology, advancements in surgical care of children with heart defects, and exemplary leadership in ASME and women in STEM.
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers awards the Van C. Mow Medal upon individuals who have demonstrated meritorious contributions to the field of bioengineering through research, education, professional development, leadership in the development of the profession, mentorship to young bioengineers, and service to the bioengineering community. This year the award goes to Dr. Alison Marsden for her scholarly work in pediatric cardiology, advancements in the surgical care of children with heart defects, and exemplary leadership in ASME and to women in STEM.
