Stanford Bioengineering and Arc Institute Joint Faculty Search
Stanford Bioengineering and the Arc Institute are coordinating a joint search seeking an outstanding scientist to join Stanford Bioengineering as an Associate or Full Professor in the University Tenure Line and the Arc Institute as a Core Investigator. This position is employed by Arc as a Core Investigator and receives full funding and lab space at Arc Headquarters in Palo Alto while also maintaining a faculty appointment in the Department of Bioengineering with all rights and privileges afforded to faculty. Candidates who aspire to groundbreaking research in immunology, neuroscience, and/or computational science/machine learning, with an emphasis on application to complex human disease, are particularly encouraged to apply. We will prioritize the overall originality and promise of the candidate’s work and encourage applications from individuals representing disciplines or opportunities that are not yet well-established within bioengineering. Note that applicants for this position must apply to both Stanford Bioengineering and the Arc Institute.
