Stanford Bioengineering labs have research projects underway, as part of the global response to COVID-19.
Some of these projects aim to prevent the disease, through innovations in personal protective equipment, ventilator controls, and CRISPR technology. Some of these projects aim to diagnose the disease, through development of serologic testing, ELISA-based diagnostics, and diagnostic standards. Some of these projects aim to find ways to treat the disease, through computational screens and AI algorithms.
