Professor Taylor's research in "predictive medicine" and "simulation-based medical planning" has been featured on several television and radio programs including Quantum, Beyond 2000, New Media News, and The Osgood Files and has appeared in Discover and Mechanical Engineering magazines. Professor Taylor has delivered several keynote lectures in the last few years including the 2000 Applied Mathematics in Industrial Flows Conference in Tuscany, Italy, the First International Symposium on Advanced Fluid Information, 2001, Sendai Japan, the 2002 Taiwan National Computational Fluid Dynamics conference, Tainan, Taiwan, the 2003 United States Association for Computational Mechanics conference, Albuquerque, NM, the 2003 Computational Sciences Symposium, Trondheim, Norway, and the 2003 Red-Raider Mini-Symposium on Mathematical and Computational Modeling of Biological Systems, Lubbock, TX.
