Graduate ProgramThe Department of Bioengineering will encompass the use of biology as a new engineering paradigm and the application of engineering principles to medical problems and biological systems. The discipline will embrace biology as a new science base for engineering. We are seeking outstanding graduate students that are committed to the discipline of bioengineering. The Bioengineering Department will accept applications for full-time study toward the degrees of M.S., Bioengineering and Ph.D. for the autumn quarter only. Applicants from colleges and universities of recognized standing who hold a U.S. bachelor's degree or its equivalent are eligible to apply for admission to graduate degree programs in Bioengineering. The competition for admission is keen, and is granted to students who exhibit an excellent academic record and exceptional research potential.
